Product description: Aldactone is a diuretic (water pill water pill) that prevents potassium-sparing your body from absorbing too much salt, and helps the potassium levels from getting too low.
Aldactone is used in the diagnosis or treatment of the condition where your body has too much aldosterone. Aldosterone is a hormone that is produced by the adrenal glands to help regulate salt and water balance in your body.
Aldactone is also used in the treatment of aqueous fluid accumulation (edema) in people with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver or kidney problem called nephrotic syndrome. This medication is also used to treat or prevent hypokalemia (low potassium levels in the body).

Indications: Spironolactone is indicated for the treatment of the following conditions:
- Essential hypertension.
- Congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver accompanied by edema and / or ascites, nephrotic syndrome and other edematous disorders.
- As adjunctive therapy in hypokalemia or hypomagnesemia induced by diuretics.
- To establish a diagnosis of primary aldosteronism.
For short-term preoperative treatment of patients with primary aldosteronism.
